About Me

Hello all you beautiful and wonderful people! I’m Catherine Gross, 21 years old and living in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia Canada! Here’s a little bit of who I am.

I’m a student, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and most importantly a follower of Jesus Christ. I have many passions, one including living life to the fullest. Enjoying creation, eating well, investing into other people, and overall caring for my whole self is what I enjoy most. There’s something beautiful about not tying yourself down to one thing; we’re complex beings, with many dimensions and aspects to our selves that should be exercised. I love people and what makes us who we are. I study psychology at UBC, learning about how our brains and bodies work. I’m fascinated by the way people interact with one another, why people do what they do, and ultimately how God created us. I also have a sweet spot for kids; they remind me how to live faithfully for God (Matthew 18:3-4).

As for some hobbies of mine, I enjoy cooking, baking (mainly chocolate chip cookies), being in creation, singing, playing music, watching movies, hand lettering, travelling, photography, investing into those around me, and of course watching Netflix (Friends and Scrubs are my all-time favourites). I’m a dog lover and chocolate enthusiast. I can’t go a day without coffee (as most people in this world). Most of all, I love to worship through song and prayer. I am truly filled when I have given a portion of my day to God, talking to Him and taking time to receive His love. I seek to build His Kingdom (Matthew 6:33) and pursue Jesus fervently through the power of His love. I desire for my life to be a testimony to God’s goodness, provision, love, and glory, so that others may believe and grow into the likeness of Him. Amen!

There’s me in a nut-shell, and I can’t wait to keep exploring and sharing the beauty and wonder of life with you! So here’s to you – you beautiful and wonderful people!
